Open settings

Open Claude Desktop → Settings → Developer → Edit Config

Add the Zetto server

Paste this into claude_desktop_config.json:

Restart Claude Desktop

Quit and reopen the app to load the new server.

Look for the hammer icon

Troubleshooting

I don't see the tools in Claude+
Make sure you've fully restarted Claude Desktop (quit and reopen, not just close the window). Double-check your claude_desktop_config.json for valid JSON syntax — a missing comma or bracket will silently fail. The tools should appear under the hammer icon in the bottom-left of the chat input.
Authentication required error+
Some tools require authentication. Run npx @zetto/mcp login in your terminal first. This opens a browser window to authenticate with your Zetto account. Free tools (search, browse, profiles) work without authentication.
Tools are slow on first use+
The first run downloads the @zetto/mcp package via npx, which can take 5-10 seconds. Subsequent runs are instant because the package is cached locally. If you want zero startup delay, install globally: npm install -g @zetto/mcp.
